I gave my life to Christ at age 8, during a
week-long preaching series, and was baptized just one year later in the
church where I was raised. Having been brought up in the ministry of the
church, it was early on that I sensed the Lord calling me into Christian Ministry. In fact, I can remember a third
grade, “What I Want To Be When I Grow Up” homework assignment. Only one
paper spoke of being a pastor – MINE! I began preaching while in high school
and, during my first year of Bible college, accepted the call to my first
church. From there, the Lord has given me so many exciting opportunities for
ministry, but none compare to the joy of serving here at FBCNM!! This is,
without question, home to our family!

I accepted Christ when I was 13 at boy’s camp, I’ve been at First
Baptist for 9 years and I teach adult Sunday School. Married to Marilyn.

I've been walking with the Lord for 14 years.
My wife's name is Kelly; we've been married for 17 years.
We have 4 children: Zachary 14, Jordan 13, Gretchen 9, and Michael
7. This will be my first year serving as a Elder.
I'm looking forward to seeing God do wonderful things at First
Baptist.

I gave my life to Jesus during a “Religious Education” class at the
West Corners (NY) Baptist Church, which I could walk to with my
grandmother and/or big sister when I was little. I went to the
Union Center (NY) Methodist Church with my parents for about 10
years until I went off to college in 1966. We moved to MA from
CT in 1990 and have been attending FBCNM regularly since 1992.
Wife is Maria Elena (originally from Medellin, Colombia) and son
Francis (now living in Arlington, VA). We have also lived in
Mexico for 3 years and Brazil 3 years.

Massachusetts has
been my home since 1978, having moved here from Long Island NY.
My girlfriend and I were looking for a church to settle into and
eventually found FBCNM. We were married here
and have served here in many capacities since that time. FBCNM
also commissioned us as overseas missionary with TransWorld
Radio, serving on Guam. Although we spent a few years away from
First Baptist in the 90’s, we have always counted it as home.
Having returned about 10 years ago, I thank God for the
opportunity to continue to serve Him here now as an elder.
